Request for Bid for Architectural Services
Down Syndrome Albania Foundation (DSA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2013 dedicated to the promotion, support and inclusion of people with Down syndrome in Albanian society. DSA aims to provide fair information and awareness to the public and other stakeholders, contributing to the development of the maximum potential of individuals with Down syndrome and other disabilities.
As part of its continuity and development of its mission, DSA is recently expanding the scope of activities and services provided by moving to new facilities. In these conditions:
Announce the request for bid for any interested entity or individual to submit their bids for.

The building (villa) has an area as follows:
– Ground floor: 182.6 (one hundred eighty two points six) m2
– 1st Floor: 188.6 (one hundred eighty eight points six) m2
– 2nd Floor: 188.6 (one hundred eighty eight points six) m2.
– The villa has a yard of about 300 m2

– Adaptation of the building in function of the new service center and offices of the Foundation.
– Drafting of the Project for the adaptation of the internal premises of the center in function of the services provided by the foundation as well as supervision of the works of the implementation project.
– Design of electrical installation, telephone, internet network and system of security cameras and fire protection.
– Design of Water Supply and Discharge Project.
– System of external facilities (yard, gardens)
– The architectural project should be presented in 3 Dimensional view (render)
In addition to the above requirements attached you must submit the following documentation:
– CV
– Diploma
– License for exercising activity
– Portfolio of similar work performed
Architectural service is required to create the following environments:
1. 1 Training / meeting / meeting room, districts 50-60 m2 to be placed on the 0th floor (zero)
2. 2 (two) physiotherapy rooms, of which large room about 40-45 m2 to be placed on the 0th floor (zero) and small room 20-25 m2.
3. 4 (four) rooms for developmental therapy / speech therapy / ABA therapy with surface. 16-25 m2. One of these rooms should be on the ground floor.
4. 1 (one) recreation room to be used for personal autonomy of young children in which should be placed 1 (one) or 2 (two) tables for handcrafts with a surface of 16-25 m2.
5. 1 (one) room for the evaluation of children’s development with an area of 16-20 m2 to be placed on the ground floor.
6. 1 (one) room for individual counseling sessions with parents with an area of 10-13 m2.
7. 1 (one) relaxation room for children 6 -10 m2.
8. 1 (one) room for group therapy max 3 children 2 therapists 20 – 25 m2
9. 1 (one) room for art therapy and music therapy with a surface of 15 m2
10. 1 (one) room for mathematics and language courses up to 10 m2
11. 1 (one) kitchen which should have and 1 (one) children’s table.
12. 1 (one) Office with 7 job positions and document lockers
13. 1 (one) Office per 1 (one) job post
14. 1 (one) Office With 2 (two) working positions
15. 1 (one) Office with 4 positions
16. 1 (one) room for autonomy
17. Storage Room – 15 m2
18. 1 (one) bathroom to be adapted for people with physical disabilities
19. 1 (one) room for accommodation of parents coming from the districts where to place a double bed, a single bed, a small closet.
20. 1 reception to be placed on the ground floor
The financial offer must be in Euro for price / m2, including VAT or 15% withholding tax.

Criteria for determining the winning bid:
1. Previous experience in architectural service, reconstruction and furnishing for service centers for children with disabilities.
2. Availability of the architect to work during the period February 10 – March 15, 2019. The new premises must be ready for service by March 25, 2019.
