Activities during October, Down Syndrome Awareness Month – 2013

Down Syndrome Albania, along with Jonathan and Future for You centers, have agreed that October be designated as the Down Syndrome Awareness Month in Albania.
DSA foundation started its journey precisely on this month, October 2013. Some of the activities that will be organized during this month to increase awareness about this syndrome are:
October 5th-30th - Awareness Media Campaign "We all need an opportunity to show our talents"
October 25th - Charity concert with world famous tenor and ambassador of DSA, at TKOB, 8:00 PM.
October 26th - A photo exhibition of Turkish photographer with Down syndrome, Cem Robert Osborn, entitled "Istanbul, the way i see it ...", in the ZETA gallery, 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
October 27th - Roundtable on the theme "Inclusive Education is still an unreachable reality in the Albanian education system." Organized by DSA with the support of Save the Children in Albania.
