Down Syndrome Albania Foundation in collaboration with the Social Service of State, next to the Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth, provided, for the first time, the statistics about the individuals with DS in Albania, which are part of the scheme of the Medical Commission of Work Ability. According to this scheme, currently in Albania live 634 individuals with Down Syndrome.
